Anemia, positive FOBT (in cases of bleeding ulcer); Most accurate: Urea breath test for H. pylori: positive in most cases of PUD; H.Pylori: (90% of duad and 70% of gastric); EGD(Esophagogastroduodenoscopy): Mucosal erosions and/or ulcers are required for a definitive diagnosis.
