Progressive hypofunctioning of the adrenal cortex.
Symptoms
Fatigue; Light headedness; Weakness; Fever; Weight loss; Anxiety; Darkening palmar creases (chronic adrenal insufficiency - primary); Addisonian crisis: Sudden loss of strength; Severe pain in the lower back, abdomen or legs; Vomiting and diarrhea potentially causing dehydration; Low blood pressure and loss of consciousness.
