CaseDescription
A 36-year-old woman with a past medical history of hypercholesterolemia and type 2 DM presents with intermittent dull RUQ discom ort. The patient does not drink alcohol. Her physical examination is unremarkable. Lab studies show elevated AST and ALT but are otherwise normal. Hepatitis serologies are negative.
