DDx Case 1. Epigastric abdominal pain. Sudden onset.
CaseDescription
50 y/o. Male patient. Sudden onset of pain several hours ago. The pain is a pressure-like sensation in the mid/upper abdomen, which Is not particularly severe. Patient had never had this symptom before. He reports no fever, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. His appetite Is diminished, and he has not had a bowel movement since the onset of pain. He reports no history of urinary symptoms such as frequency, dysuria, or hematuria. His past medical history is unremarkable.
